Hi, I’m penelope1979. I’m friendly and super spontaneous. I love to cook and iron. I’m a great gardener, super tidy and I love animals… of any species.
What would you tell yourself in your first days of broadcasting?
I would tell myself that I have to keep having fun, enjoying the moment and not caring what others say.
How far do you want to go as a model?
Without considering myself a model in any way, I want to get to where I have already reached: to have a steady audience. And most important of all, to fully enjoy my shows.
How do you manage to separate your personal life from webcam modeling?
Being natural and not trying to be anything that I’m not. Again, I don’t feel like a model at all. What you see is what you get, I don’t need to separate anything.
Do you do any preparation ritual before you start broadcasting?
I shower, comb my hair, put on something sexy and make sure I have my toys fully charged. Positive attitude, nothing more.
Do you prepare your shows in advance?
Yes, like any date, I start preparing about three hours in advance. I think that’s enough.
Some advice for models who are just starting out on those days when there are only a few users and a few tips?
My advice is that they talk to the users in the room, and connect with them. Above all, don’t pretend, because you can tell by looking at them. If it happens, it happens. And if not, chat and have a good time. And for those who want a more convincing phrase “the days that go bad, remember the days that go very well”.
How many hours did you connect when you started?
The same as now. Just because you broadcast more does not mean you will earn more. The time you are broadcasting, do it with enthusiasm.
Do you think the mood influences the broadcasting?
Of course, everything in the room is contagious. If you see that you don’t connect, it’s better to say goodbye and come back another day. If you give good vibes and joy, you get the same. When this is not possible, my recommendation is to leave and come back another day, because otherwise, you get into a loop. We all come in to have a good time.
Have you ever been recognized in the street?
Fortunately or unfortunately, I have never been recognized. And if it has ever happened, they have not said anything to me, which I am grateful for. If they told me, I would answer that penelope1979 only connects at Amateur. If you have seen me and recognized me, you have done well not to say anything to me. Thank you very much!
Do you invest in your shows and do you consider it important?
Of course, I invest, especially in lighting. And in the theme, too. It’s important to do different things within my possibilities.
Have you suffered harassment for being a webcam model? What have you done in these cases?
Of course, I have suffered and will suffer some kind of harassment. But I always keep in mind this simple phrase: “The lionesses don’t lose sleep over what the sheep think”.
Tell us which mistakes you consider the most serious when it comes to broadcasting
Big errors are taking everything too personal, pretending, and trying to sell a motorcycle without an engine. In the end, you force things, and you disappoint the room and yourself. People start to notice, so you try to reverse it, you change your attitude, and even if you think we all have a fish memory, people don’t forget. It’s like a residue. And the worst thing is to get to that point and have no self-criticism. So, reset, start over again, and don’t let the mistakes you made lead you to the same place.
Do you prefer private or public shows?
I like both. Depending on the moment in the room, I like to do in public what I would do in private. But there are times when you have to be courteous and go private to show something that no one else can see.
Are you happy to broadcast?
Of course, it makes me happy! And at the same time, when it no longer makes me happy, I’ll stop.
Can you tell us about something you bought with your Amateur earnings?
Well, this is the hardest one because we don’t want anyone to know about it. But yes: the house I live in, the Ferrari I have in the garage, the Lamborghini I have to paint in another color, the forty-meter-long boat… and the three cool guys who make me coffee at seven in the morning before I go to work. Because I’m that cool and I keep on working… Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! Jokes aside… whatever you earn, you’ve earned it.
I don’t want to end this interview without thanking my loyal followers. They know who they are. Without them, there is no Amateur. Thank you!
